About Sierra Gold Chapter of CCOF
The Sierra Gold Chapter of CCOF is one of 15 geographical based chapters that make up the trade association portion of CCOF. The Sierra Gold Chapter represents Amador, El Dorado, Placer, & Toulumne counties. Sierra Gold has over forty members who produce a wide variety of organic products including; apples, berries, kiwi, mandarins, peaches, pears, plums, rice, wild rice, table grapes, wine grapes, and vegetable crops.
Our growers market their produce through a wide variety of methods including; farm stands, farmer’s markets, CSA baskets, internet sales, and wholesale. Truly, the only thing they all have in common, besides location, is their dedication to organic farming methods.
The members of Sierra Gold have all certified organic with CCOF because of CCOF’s dedication to maintaining organic integrity for over thirty years.
